Who are we?

Turkey Import Precheck operates within Redpool 24 Dış Ticaret A.Ş. We combine Redpool 24’s practical experience in international trade, imports and exports with our team’s knowledge and experience in Turkish customs practice and technical regulations since 2002.

That is why we do not assess a product through documents alone. We consider what the product is, how it works, its intended use, where it is manufactured and the commercial conditions under which it will enter Türkiye.

Why do we provide this service?

For a manufacturer exporting to Türkiye, the fact that a product is already sold in another market is not enough. The same product may fall under a different Turkish GTIP, attract different duties, surveillance or trade-policy measures, and require TAREKS control, additional technical evidence, labelling, test reports or permits even when it bears a CE mark.

These questions often surface only after the goods have left. Incorrect or incomplete preparation can cause customs delays, unexpected costs, requests for further evidence or interruption of the import process. Our purpose is to make those possibilities visible before the order and shipment decision.

How do we work?

The review begins with the product’s technical identity. We assess catalogues, data sheets, product images, intended use, composition, operating principle, model and origin. The likely Turkish GTIP, customs duties, additional financial burdens, surveillance, anti-dumping, origin and preferential treatment are then considered together with CE, TAREKS, TSE and other product-safety controls.

Rather than giving only a yes-or-no answer, we show the available findings, uncertainties that may change the outcome and the steps to take before shipment. This allows the manufacturer, exporter and Turkish importer to work from the same information.

Our work is more than online content. As an operating company with a physical address and an accessible team in Türkiye, we review product files and provide foreign manufacturers and exporters with a technical contact point on the ground.
