The BTB applies General Rules 1 and 6 and the explanatory material for heading 73.26, supported by technical review and customs laboratory analysis reports.
Dedicated use in a solar-tracker system does not automatically make the article electrical apparatus or a specially classified machine part. Its objective metal construction and fastening function lead to treatment as another article of iron or steel.
Do not automatically transfer this result to aluminium products, sets supplied with bolts and nuts, load-bearing structural assemblies or components that transmit motion. Verify material, manufacturing method, connection geometry and presentation.
A useful warning for renewable-energy projects: tracker components cannot all be grouped under one generic 'solar system part' code; each fastening item must be assessed by material and function.
