Türkiye imposes definitive anti-dumping duties on Chinese solar junction boxes
From 23 September 2026, imports of solar panel junction boxes originating in China are subject to definitive anti-dumping duties of 38.23% or 57.11% of the CIF value, depending on the company.

Which products are covered?
The scope covers solar panel junction boxes under Turkish GTIPs 8544.42.90.00.11 and 8544.60.10.00.11, and only solar panel junction boxes under 8544.60.90.00.00. This is not a blanket duty on all cables, all junction boxes or solar panels themselves.

Application and cost impact
Customs collects the definitive duty when the covered goods are imported for release for free circulation. The rate is applied to the CIF value; it is not the total import tax rate. Other taxes and regulatory requirements must be assessed separately.
Example: for a CIF value of USD 10,000, the anti-dumping duty alone is USD 3,823 at 38.23%, or USD 5,711 at 57.11%. This example does not represent the total landed cost.
Effective date and duration
The Communiqué enters into force on its publication date, 23 September 2026. The measures expire five years after entry into force; if an expiry review is initiated before then, they remain in force until that investigation is concluded.
