Electrical equipment may require more than a CE mark. Its voltage, function, radio capability, installation method and intended environment can change both classification and the applicable technical legislation. Import controls may run through TAREKS when the Turkish GTIP and product description fall within a current communiqué.
What should be checked?
- Confirm voltage, frequency, power, insulation class and operating environment.
- Separate power, control, measuring, communication and radio functions.
- Map LVD, EMC, RoHS and any product-specific legislation to the exact model.
- Check the Turkish GTIP and current TAREKS annex descriptions.
- Review the DoC, test reports, label, manufacturer identity and Turkish instructions as one evidence chain.
