Exporting Machinery to Türkiye
A machinery export checklist for Türkiye covering technical classification, CE, safety file, TAREKS and possible prior authorisation.
Check One Product →SHORT ANSWER
For machinery, the commercial name is rarely enough. The essential function, operating principle, configuration and whether the shipment is a complete machine, combination, part or unfinished machine affect both GTIP and the regulatory route. Listed machinery may also require TAREKS and, for certain lists, prior authorisation.
What should be checked?
- Define the machine’s essential function and full configuration.
- Distinguish complete machinery, interchangeable equipment, parts and partly completed machinery.
- Determine the likely Turkish GTIP and the relevant machinery-control list.
- Check whether prior authorisation is required before the customs stage.
- Align the Declaration of Conformity, risk assessment, instructions, nameplate and test evidence to the exact model.
Evidence to prepare
- Technical catalogue and layout
- Function and process description
- Declaration of Conformity / incorporation documents
- Risk assessment and applied standards
- Nameplate, guards and safety-instruction evidence
