Is CE Marking Enough for Türkiye?

No—not by itself. CE marking is the manufacturer’s conformity indication for applicable technical legislation; it does not determine customs classification, TAREKS scope, customs duties, trade remedies, permits or whether the supporting file is acceptable for the exact model imported.
What should be checked?
- Confirm which technical regulations actually apply to the product.
- Check that the Declaration of Conformity names the correct manufacturer, model and legislation.
- Verify the Turkish GTIP and current import-control scope.
- Review labels, traceability, economic-operator information and Turkish instructions.
- Check separate customs, origin, surveillance, anti-dumping and permit measures.
